La experiencia de ser padre
Desde el primer momento en que un hombre se entera que va a ser padre, hasta el momento del nacimiento de su hijo(a), una serie de emociones recorre por todo su cuerpo. No sabe si estar alegre, si estar triste, si estar furioso; es una sensación intimidante esta de ser padre primerizo.
Muchos se preguntan si realmente están listos para este reto, o si la economía los va a ayudar a mantener a su angelito caído del cielo.
Sin embargo, no hay nada que supere ese momento cuando por primera vez se toma a un hijo en los brazos y se le mira por un rato, pensando: “Amaré a esta criaturita por el resto de mi vida”.
Veamos algunas de las historias que recopilamos:
- Joel Rodríguez: “ser padre ha sido una de las experiencias más increíbles que he tenido el placer de experimentar. Primero uno siente que no va a poder, que no va a ser un buen padre pero la verdad es que luego que uno está comprometido con esto. Es realmente gratificante, ya no me imagino la vida sin mi hijo. También he tenido la suerte de tener en mi equipo a una esposa maravillosa con la que comparto los deberes de esta profesión”.
- Pedro Fernández: “ha sido una experiencia muy fuerte para mí, la verdad que no estaba preparado para tanto, aun así me he dedicado de lleno porque mi hijo vale la pena. Digo que ha sido fuerte porque mi esposa lamentablemente falleció y he tenido que encargarme yo solo de Pablo, es la luz de mis ojos. Ahora entiendo perfectamente a aquellas mujeres que siempre están apuradas y nunca llegan a tiempo a ningún lado. Ser padre soltero es muy difícil, pero es gratificante ver una sonrisa en el rostro de mi hijo, ese es el motor que me impulsa a ser cada vez mejor y a luchar por él.”
- José Pirela: “Le doy mil gracias a dios por haber tenido a mis cuatro hijos. Son el regalo más grande que me ha dado la vida. Por ellos me he esforzado por tanto tiempo, sin pedir nada a cambio y sin titubeos. Es realmente hermoso ver cómo van creciendo y se van convirtiendo en hombres y mujeres de bien. José Alberto, mi hijo mayor, ya se va a graduar de médico. Yo aún me acuerdo cuando no era más grande que un balón de básquet, y ahora mira, ya todo un hombre. Y génesis, la única mujer, ya estudia y trabaja al mismo tiempo. Seguramente se casa pronto y me deja solo en la casa.”
- Emmanuel Gómez: “para mi Samuel es mi hijo. Hace varios años me diagnosticaron con una enfermedad que me impide tener hijos, sin embargo, llegó María a mi vida, con Samuel Jesús. Ellos llenaron aquellos espacios vacíos en mi corazón. No seré su padre biológico, pero ese niño es más mi hijo que de aquel hombre sin corazón que lo abandonó. Y la verdad es que le agradezco, si él no lo hubiese hecho, tal vez yo no estaría con mi hijo Samuel. Ser padre es lo más maravilloso del mundo. Padre no es el que engendra, si no el que cuida y educa”.
Estas conmovedoras historias, nos hacen reflexionar sobre lo bello de ser padre, de la dedicación y de la atención que debemos tener con ellos.
Un hijo llena nuestras vidas de inocencia y ternura. En resumen, ser padre es EL MEJOR TRABAJO DEL MUNDO.
