¿Llegó momento de ser mamá?
A lo largo de nuestra vida las mujeres nos acostumbramos a la idea de ser madres.
Jugamos con muñecas, a las cuales arrullamos, cuidamos y alimentamos, sin sospechar que en el momento en que un bebé real llegué a nuestros brazos nada en el mundo nos habrá preparado para ello.
Nuestro reloj biológico nos da la alerta, nos indica el momento en que nuestro cuerpo está en condiciones óptimas para traer una vida al mundo, o al menos eso es lo que todos dicen.
Pero debemos tener en cuenta muchos aspectos antes de tomar esta importante decisión que marcará un antes y un después en nuestras vidas.
A continuación enumeramos algunos de ellos.
Madurez psicológica y emocional
¿Estoy realmente consciente de las implicaciones de traer un bebé al mundo? ¿Cuento la madurez emocional y psicológica para ello? ¿Está preparada mi pareja para tener un hijo? Estas son algunas de las preguntas que podemos hacernos para determinar si es el momento de tener un bebé.
Si no concebimos la idea de dejar las fiestas y las salidas nocturnas, de sacrificar nuestras horas de sueño, de afrontar los cambios físicos y psicológicos que conlleva un embarazo, entonces significa que no es el momento de dar a luz.
Aunado a esto, la opinión de la pareja es muy importante. No podemos ser de esas madres que toman solas la decisión de embarazarse, un bebé necesita de dos adultos maduros y preparados para darle la mejor vida posible.
Estabilidad tanto económica como mental
No nos referimos únicamente a la estabilidad emocional o psicológica, la estabilidad económica también juega un papel fundamental en la creación del ambiente idóneo para traer a un bebé al mundo.
Si no tenemos un trabajo estable, nuestros ingresos no son suficientes para brindarle el cuidado necesario a un hijo, en resumen, no tenemos nada que ofrecer, entonces no es el momento de ser mamá.
Es mejor buscar mejores condiciones y esperar un poco. Cuando tengamos esa estabilidad, entonces le abriremos los brazos a la posibilidad de hacer crecer la familia.
Entorno adecuado y afectividad
A la hora de tener un bebé es fundamental el amor. El entorno debe ser adecuado para acoger a un nuevo miembro en nuestras familias.
Si nuestra relación no es armoniosa, si no predomina el amor, indudablemente habrá que postergar el momento de ser madre.
Bajo ningún concepto debemos traer al mundo a un niño a sufrir las consecuencias de los errores de sus padres, por lo tanto, debemos buscar la manera de conciliar nuestras diferencias de pareja, estar en paz y de desde este estado tomar la decisión de quedar embarazadas.
Salud física y mental
Quizá uno de los aspectos más importantes a considerar a la hora de tener un bebé es la salud. Si estamos pensando quedar embarazadas, es importante que, tanto nosotras como nuestra pareja, acudamos a un médico que nos asesore.
Una madre y un padre sanos son la mejor oportunidad de un bebé que viene a este mundo. Debemos cuidarnos para poder cuidar a ese pequeño ser que llenará nuestras vidas de alegría.
Ser madre cambia vidas, en la mayoría de los casos para bien, pero es una decisión que no debemos tomarnos a la ligera. Seamos personas más conscientes, preparémonos, eduquémonos, pero sobre todo AMEMOS A NUESTROS HIJOS DESDE QUE LLEGAN A NUESTRAS VIDAS.
