Tu vida antes y después de tu hijo

Son muchísimas las personas a las que se les eriza la piel ante la sola mención de la palabra “hijos”.

Piensan que el tener hijos es que como una enfermedad que te va matando poco a poco, o que la llegada de un hijo trae consigo el apocalipsis.

A pesar de que trae cambios y limitaciones como consecuencia, la vida de padre no es tan mala como la pintan.

No obstante, es recomendable quemar todas las etapas de borracheras y fiestas antes de tomar una decisión de este tipo. En este artículo, haremos una comparación entre la vida como soltero y la vida como padre.

Fiestas y borracheras

Cuando se es soltero, una de las mejores etapas de nuestra vida es aquella en la que nos ponemos locos y salimos a tomar.

Estar en un local, en la casa de un amigo, en la casa de un amigo de tu amigo o simplemente en la calle con tus colegas de jerga, borrachos, no tiene precio. Adicionalmente, salir a conocer chicas, conocer nuevos lugares y personas también forma parte de esta etapa.

De hecho, en es aquí cuando más personas se conocen. Llegar a sitios nuevos y hablar con desconocidos es toda una aventura.

Adiós fiestas y borracheras de fin de semana

Como ya dijimos antes, es preferible quemar las etapas de borracheras y fiestas antes de tener un hijo. En este caso hay que aprovechar la vida de soltero al máximo y probar todo lo que quieras hacer en tu vida.

Esto no quiere decir que más nunca podrás salir de fiesta con tus amigos, sin embargo, ya no podrás hacerlo tan frecuentemente.

Aunado a esto, durante el primer año, y en algunos casos parte del segundo, el niño necesita todas las atenciones debidas para su buen crecimiento y se vuelve casi imposible salir de casa.

Si eres mujer, necesitarás amamantarlo y estar allí para él o ella; y si eres hombre, tendrás que estar allí para los dos.

Días de sueño hasta tarde sin hacer absolutamente nada

En tu vida de soltero, podrás disfrutar de algunos días de vacaciones, de viajes improvisados con tus amigos y de aquellos tan deseados días de no hacer nada.

El día después de una borrachera para descansar y los anhelados días domingo, son de los mejores amigos que tienes en esta etapa. Como consejo, te decimos que es mejor que aproveches todos y cada uno de tus días de flojera. Luego los extrañarás.

Adiós a aquellos días tan añorados de descanso

Ahora bien, en tu vida de padre, ya no podrás hacer la mayor parte de esto, o al menos no como solías hacerlo.

Tus días de vacaciones se convertirán en días de hacer lo que el bebé quiera y de descansar poco, pues los niños tienen mucha energía para drenar. Aquellos viajes improvisados con tus amigos que tanto te gustaban los cambiarás por viajes estrictamente planificados, donde más que disfrutar sin hacer nada, vas a tener que estar atento a cada paso de tu hijo.

Y aquellos anhelados días de descanso, los cambiarás por días en los que el niño se despertará a las seis de la mañana pidiéndote comida y corriendo por toda la casa.

Días de soledad.

Incluso cuando la vida de soltero pueda ser fascinante, en algunos casos es solitaria.

Tus amigos van tomando  sus propios rumbos y te van apartando de su vida por responsabilidades laborales o maritales.

El número de colegas y amigos con los que antes solías disfrutar se reduce y te vas quedando solo. Sin embargo, hay quienes disfrutan de días aislados del mundo. Estar solo deja espacio para pensar en lo que se quiere y lo que se va a hacer.

Hola alegría y compañía

Cuando tienes hijos, ya tienes una familia. No importa donde estés, ni en que problemas te puedas meter, tu familia va a estar allí para ti, para cuidarte y apoyarte.

Una de las más gratificantes recompensas que la vida como padre te puede dar es  ver a tus hijos adultos, formados y agradeciéndote por la educación y el cuidado que le has dado, una vez con hijos, nunca más estarás solo.
